i think the body is so damn amazing. i mean, like for example, the process of respiration consists of glycolysis, link reaction, krebs cycle and oxidative phosphorylation. so many complicated chemical thingies going on in all those processes, where oxygen is taken in to convert glucose into energy water and C02. yet an average breath takes like only ONE SECOND?!?! omg! how did ALL THAT happen in just one sec??! and also, responses to stimuli like the prick of a needle. electrical impulses need to be sent over lengths of special cells known as nerves, which consists of dendrites, cell bodies and axons, and the info needs to be processed before a response (like withdrawing of hand) is instructed and yet we can withdraw our hand within a SPLIT SECOND of the prick?!?!

it's not that i never knew these before, but it just appears exceptionally amazing now.

and what's even more amazing, HOW THE HELL DID PEOPLE GET TO KNOW ALL THESE??? i mean, such is the magic of research! like how the hell did they find out how DNA is replicated or packaged? or how genes work? :O

okay anyway, i love surprises! both receiving and giving. sunday was good. happy happy eighteenth my dear ellen i will always always love you. :) and tomorrow, someone else is gonna get a surprise...! :D
